Trent Loos Made Me Feel Like A Celebrity →

I’ve known Mr. Trent Loos for quite some time, but he didn’t know me. He’s one of those famous people that you have an imaginary relationship with. Not quite stalker status, that warrants restraining orders, but close. The kind of celebrity that you think you’d be best friends with if you ever got the chance to have a beer with him. Like Gerald Butler or Chris Pratt.
Trent is kinda like Butler and Pratt, although I’m not sure he’d look quite as good in a tight leotard saving the world as those gentleman do. And he has a handlebar mustache. And he just might be too opinionated to be in Hollywood. Ok, he’s nothing like them. But, in the world of agriculture, he is our George Clooney – saving our way of life, one broadcast at a time.
Trent Loos, for those that don’t stalk him, is a sixth-generation farmer with a passion for agriculture. Recognized as the “Voice of Rural America”, Trent speaks for many of us farmers that would rather stay home and milk cows then learn to have the patience to talk to those who are against what we do. His ground-breaking work in advocating for agriculture and speaking on behalf of farmers is what makes him a celebrity in the ag world and in my bloodshot eyes.
And for some reason, he wanted to talk to Pilaroc Farms.
We recorded a spot together for his Rural Route Radio. His daily spots are broadcast to over 100 radio stations in the midwest and western states and reaches over 3 million people.
When he’s not wrangling pigs or ridiculous goats (because I don’t know a sane goat) or recording radio spots, he’s speaking at conventions and meetings all over the world, going Live on Facebook with his Loos From The Hip segments, vlogging and blogging. He must have a great wife to help with all of this, because how could he ever get it all done.
Take a listen to our little spot. We didn’t uncover anything earth shattering, but I hope, just maybe, he might be interested in a beer if we do ever meet in person.
